5 Minute Core Workout at Home



AT home workouts are currently hotter than ever right now! There are so many wonderful videos, live streaming, and stories right now all around at home fitness. Working out is not only a physical gain, but it also plays a lot into mental well being.


With everything people are facing right now, at home workouts are a necessity. In order to make this accessible to all, I thought I would create a blog to share what makes me smile- working out, photography, and mindfulness. At home workouts, of course, fall into the working out category.


I am so excited and grateful to share with you some at home workouts. To start, I will share ideas for working out focused on one area. For example, today, we are focusing on core. Then tomorrow, we will focus on glutes.


After we get comfortable with some basics, I will start adding on, layering in different combo movements, and even mixing up different categories, for example arms and cardio together in one workout. Just like with everything we do, we need to start by creating a strong base, a strong base in which we feel properly aligned and safe.


 

When you are ready, pick two of your favorite core songs. If you need some inspiration, check out my ideas below! You can choose to do these movements slow, so about 20-30 seconds each, which should take you to about the end of the song. Or you can do these movements fast and go through them twice on the same song. Listen to the music, find your beat!

Therefore, this entire sequence will take between 5-8 minutes, depending on the length of the song you pick! The perfect 5 minute core workout series!
